Mustonen Architects Ltd was founded in 2002.
Currently we are a team of ten: nine architects, enriched by one MA in ethnology, many with supplementary expertise gained in additional studies. The CEO is founder and majority owner Tapani Mustonen. Original employees Olli Helasvuo, Tuulikki Tanskanen and Niina Svartström became partners in 2017.
Our staff is our most important resource. Our aim is to provide our employees with positive challenges, opportunities to deepen their knowledge and use their creativity to solve the multitude of design challenges faced. We are constantly educating ourselves and each other in the developments made in the field of architecture, restoration, and sustainability of the built environment.

In the past few years, we have worked in collaboration with other offices and acted as consulted as experts in built heritage and restoration. These projects have allowed us to broaden our view of the field and develop new connections.
